A stunning pink and cream satin dragon kimono from the 1940s. The dimensional metallic gold embroidered dragon and pagoda scene are embroidered by hand, the front is much more plain with minimal gold cloud embroidery on the sleeves.
A statement piece with impressive detailing. Silver, gold, red, cream, and black metallic threads are used throughout and feature the couching technique for dimension. Special stitching and padding create 3D dragon heads for a truly unique look.

Condition: Great vintage condition in regards to construction. Please note, I am selling this set 'as is' since it has not been professionally cleaned. My dry cleaner was hesitant due to a dye test done on the red embroidery thread, there is a possibility of bleeding (the tongue on the dragon). Due to this, there are light stains on the inside lining of the kimono. A couple of small areas where the gold thread is missing, not noticeable due to the amount of embroidery.
