Pattern Description
This PDF pattern is for a classic 1950s cocktail / party dress with a double circle skirt. That's right, when nothing else will do, this double circle skirt adds a dramatic flair to your wardrobe. Plus, there is an underskirt/slip for even more volume!
The bodice of the dress is comprised of a slip bodice with thin straps and a dress bodice with kimono sleeves.
View A has a scoop neckline; View B has a high neckline with collar; View C high neckline.

Bust: 32"
Waist: 26-1/2"
Hip: 35"
Finished width at lower edge of dress: 404 inches
Finished width at lower edge of slip: 211 inches

Recommended Fabrics
Dress: Voile, nylon sheers, chiffon, silk organza, embroidered Organdy, dotted swiss, tissue gingham, soft nylon lace.
Slip: Polished Cotton, Taffeta
Sewing Notions
Matching thread, Bias fold tape, 12" or 14" dress placket zipper for side opening of dress, 8" Neck-type zipper for side opening of slip.
