Pattern Description

1950s pattern provides two styles of bodice, a wide shaped neckline and a cowl neckline.

Views 1 and 2 depict the wide, shaped neckline in front of a sleeveless bodice. Please note the draped bodice back has a deep "V" neckline.

View 3 highlights the bias-cut bodice with the cowl neckline.

Skirt is darted at sides for shaping and two pleats in front and back provide fullness. Pattern comes with directions for back bow and belt.

Bust: 37
Waist: 28 1/2"
Hip (7" below waist): 39"
Back (Neck to waist): 16"

Finished Back Length of Dress: 47”

Border prints, pique, cotton lace, organdy, polished cottons, silk crepe, taffeta, brocade, synthetics, blends.  Lining:  Cottons, taffeta, marquisette.

Thread, seam binding, 1" belt backing or grosgrain ribbon
View 1 and 2: 12" neck-type zipper
View 3: 20" neck-type zipper and 3/4" metal weight
