Pattern Description

1970s Separates for a complete outfits for mixing and matching. This pattern includes Pants or Shorts, Bikini, Blouse, Scarf and Tote Bag.

The lined halter type bikini bra buttoned at the back neck has elastic castings and back link hook closing. Lined bikini shorts with elastic castings at upper and leg edges has self fabric bows at side seams. Bow trimmed pants and shorts have elastic waistline casting.

The top with gathered to back has front button closing, a stand-up collar and long set-in sleeves, a detail of a top-stitching trim. A belt is recommend to be purchased to complete this ensemble, however a simple sash can be made with the same fabric if desired.

The scarf is narrowly hemmed, and the tote bag has cord drawstring slipped thru casting.

The perfect matching set for a summer or beach vacation or a quick run to Target for shampoo but then you leave with 12 other must have finds.

Sewing Notions

Thread.  Bikini: one 1" link hook, two 1/2" buttons.  1/2" wide bias fold tape.  Top, Pants and Shorts: seam binding or stretch lace.  Top: six 1/2" buttons, belt (opt.)
