A rare 1950-60s daffodil yellow linen jacket by Garé. Corded drawstring with tassels adorn the collar, buttoned front with patch pockets on the side with button closure. Long sleeves are cuffed with buttons, beautifully lined. Perfect for a light summer jacket.
Garé was a label carried at high-end designer boutiques and high quality apparel stores, for example, Bonwit Teller, in the 1950s through the 1960s. The Garé label can be found on very fine jackets from the 1950s and decadent chain weighted women's blazers in the style of Coco Chanel.
