A 1950s two-piece ensemble made from dupioni silk and features a beautiful watercolor floral print. The sheath dress has a classic button detail at the shoulders that is functional to slip the dress over the head with a side zipper closure. A sash is attached at the sides and fastens in the back with a covered button to cinch the waistline. While the matching short-sleeved a-line coat has an elegant dolman sleeve and beautiful pleating detailing at the sides to add swing and movement. Condition: Good vintage condition, light underarm discoloration on dress and slight fraying of the silk, has been treated/ mended. Light small spots due to aging through our dress on front bodice and skirt. Dress and jacket have not been dry cleaned.
