A drop-dead-gorgeous 1930-40s floral printed rayon gown. I still can't get over this beautiful vintage treasure!
These dresses are so rare in this full length. A bright primary colored floral print of poppies and leaves. A ruched sweetheart neckline with a matching ruched back. The construction of the dress is remarkable. A diamond shaped waistline with gored skirt and to side panels that gather in the back to add volume to the skirt. A hidden side metal zipper closure in true 1930s fashion, where the zipper is placed in the middle of the waistline. The red orange velveteen ribbon does not look original to the dress, but I think it was tastefully added, possibly to replace a broken strap. Please reach conditions.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The dress is 'As Is' condition due to that it has not been cleaned. The colors are still vibrant and a dye test showed a possibility bleeding. Light underarm discoloration from wear and a small light stain on front skirt. Please see pictures and reach out with any questions.
