Vintage Louis Estévez couture is hard to find and highly sought after by vintage collectors. This design was released and featured by ADVANCE patterns circe 1958 in their 'American Designer' series.
This gorgeous day or evening dress has slightly bloused bodice due to the sheerness of the polka dot fabric. The softly gathered and pleated waistline gives way to a pencil skirt, the dress is fully lined. Straight neckline across the collarbone gives this dress a classic look and shape. The sheer floating back panel is gathered at the top of the neckline with full pleats and attached to the middle back. There is a side metal zipper with hook/eye; also a hook/eye closure on the left shoulder to open the neckline to out on.
