Beautiful close fitting cage hat made in wired green velvet. The blue color is absolutely gorgeous, a pretty Spring green. It sits very comfortably on the top of the head and has a pretty curved edge.
Remarkably simple in construction with velvet covered wire and knotted together. Very light weight -- sits lightly on the head, not pinching like a modern headband.
It can be shaped to fit any head as the wire is fairly flexible and yet quite sturdy. It holds on to the head remarkably well with no need of pins and is incredibly light.
